Boko Haram kills Rev. Andimi, abducted Adamawa CAN chairman

Boko Haram has announced the execution of Lawan Andimi, Adamawa State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who was abducted by the group earlier this month.

Ahmed Salkida, exiled Nigerian journalist, who is reported to be well-informed about the activities of the Islamic group, disclosed this on his twitter handle @A_Salkida.

Andimi was shown in a video on January 5, after his abduction, to be appealing to the Governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri and his cergy colleagues, for a quick intervention for his release.
