10 killed, 15 wounded as B’Haram attacks Maiduguri

At least 10 people have confirmed dead while 15 sustained various degree of injuries after insurgents attacked Maiduguri, the state capital on Saturday, local official said.
Elder Abba Aji, the State Civilian JTF Coordinator confirmed this to newsmen at Polo Jidari area, the scene of the attacks in Maiduguri on Saturday that two of the suspected Boko haram terrorists were killed.
According to him the incident happened around 5:30amwhen the insurgents started fire on civilian helpless civilian at Agwan Baba Ali in Polo general area of Maiduguri on Saturday morning.
He said, ” All in all 10 persons lost their lives and 8 residents lost their lives. We killed one of the attacker’s and the other suicide bomber exploded his IED vest and eventually die in the attacks.
” 15 wounded persons are currently receiving medical treatment at State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri; However, we call on residents to be vigilante and support the troops with useful information.
He added, ” we lost one of our gallant Cjtf member who halted the movement of the invaded, may his rest in peace, we salutes his courage and sacrifices.”Aji said.
Resident Abdul Yunus explained that one of his neighbourh was shot dead by the attacker his way to mosque.
” I lost my neighborh the last morning attacks, he wept controllably, we were together last night but it was after the attacked I got to know about it. Because we ran away when it was subsidies. I was told he was going to mosque when he was shot.”
It would be that Molai and Polo axis has suffered severe attacks from insurgents group claiming hundreds of lives in the recent times.
However, as at filling of this reports no official statement from police or military confirming or denied the attack.
