Speaking on how she uses natural and eco-friendly ingredients to ensure safety of skin, Daramola explained that for her natural and eco-friendly skincare/body-care product, she prioritise using milder formulations.
“Harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and synthetic ingredients that can potentially irritate or harm the skin are avoided. This helps minimize the risk of allergic reactions and sensitivity.
“My Natural skincare product incorporate plant-based ingredients such as botanical extracts, essential oils, and natural butters. These ingredients can provide nourishing and moisturizing benefits to the skin. They may also contain vitamins, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds that help support overall skin health.
“My Natural body-care products aim to use ingredients that are non-toxic and free from harmful substances such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and artificial colors. This reduces the potential for long-term negative effects on the skin and overall health,” she explained.
She listed general plants/ingredients that are often present in your products to include Aloe vera, rosehip oilis, witch hazel, hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, Shea Butter and Retinol.
Apart from skin type difference and quality, Daramola reasons why people react to certain products.
According to her, some individuals may be allergic to specific ingredients commonly found in skincare products. These allergies she said can range from mild irritation to severe allergic reactions, such as hives or swelling. Common allergens include fragrances, preservatives, and certain plant extracts.
She also hinted that certain individuals may have sensitivities to certain ingredients, even if they are not technically allergic. These sensitivities, she said can cause redness, itching, or irritation upon contact with the product.
She also.explained that skincare products can contain ingredients that are inherently irritating to the skin, such as alcohol, harsh detergents, or certain acids, adding that these ingredients can disrupt the skin’s natural barrier function and lead to inflammation or irritation.
She also explained that using multiple skincare products that contain different ingredients or have conflicting effects can sometimes lead to reactions. Certain combinations can cause irritation or even chemical reactions when the products interact on the skin, she said.

Daramola shared some success stories she had recorded through her products to include acne treatment, anti-aging solutions, hyperpigmentation correction, skin sensitivity management and skin rejuvenation.
