As sexual offenses surge in the country, with rape being the most prevalent, Nigeria will be launching a sex offenders’ register to put a stop to incidences of sexual violence, said Amina Salihu, Senior Program Officer, MacArthur Foundation, Nigeria.

“Nigeria will be launching a Sex Offenders’ Register in the coming weeks. The initiative is meant to name and shame offenders,” she said.
