Ceramics industry gets a new boost as Epina holds fair

The comatose Nigerian ceramics industry has got a fresh boost following the decision of Epina Technologies Limited, a global learning and engineering blended solutions provider in Africa, to organise an international trade fair between August 27 and 28, 2014. The two-day fair will be held at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Hotel.

“The 2014 International Ceramics Trade Fair in Lagos, Nigeria, provides a golden opportunity for all involved in ceramics manufacturing or distribution business and the general public to witness in one suitable roof the availability of different types of ceramics products for automobiles, aviation, electronics, health, homes, hotels, military vehicles and components, offices, oil and gas industries,” said Eguakhide Patrick Oaikhinan, a professor of ceramics/CEO, Epina Technologies, who is organising the event in affiliation with Moyo Konsult Limited.

According to him, the trade fair would support an ongoing efforts of the government to diversify the economy, show participants how to utilise solid minerals, attract foreign investors, internationalise ceramics manufacturing as well as reveal untapped potential in the industry.
