BridgeGap to hold business summit for entrepreneurs on May 16

BridgeGap

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the unemployment Rate in Nigeria increased to 23.10% in the third quarter of 2018.

The Brookings institution on the report on poverty stated that Nigeria is now the poorest country overtaking India.

It is time for us all to do something about the current unemployment rate. We cannot provide jobs without empowering entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs are the engines of every economy and the fastest way to provide jobs, which will, in turn, boost the economy.

BridgeGap caters to individuals and organizations in relation to career objectives. We believe career doesn’t mean having a white-collar or blue-collar job but anything that we continuously do over a period of time to which we expect to grow and be better. Our definition of career, therefore, covers entrepreneurs as well.

At BridgeGap, we believe in grooming, nurturing and developing start-up ideas and initiatives while assisting with the growth of businesses.

BridgeGap Consults will be hosting a business summit, an event that will assist entrepreneurs with the right skills that will assist them in growing their business. In the last one-year, the unemployment rate in Nigeria has increased tremendously due to the economic situation of the country. Most organizations were hit hard which has led to the retrenchment of workers. In other to survive, workers have turned to entrepreneurs in various fields.

In view of the above, there is a need to prepare entrepreneurs for the challenges and opportunities of becoming entrepreneurs.

This year’s Business submit is themed “The Game of Business: Making an impact”.

We understand that most entrepreneurs need capital to either start or grow their business and this is why entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to win seed capital for their business. The event will be providing at least 5 entrepreneurs with seed fund to assist with growing their businesses. 5 entrepreneurs will be going away with products that can assist their business.

The event is scheduled to hold on 16th May 2019 at NECA House. Plot A2 Hakeem Balogun Street, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja

To register, Entrepreneurs will need to create a one-minute video with the #gameofbusinessbg and then register for the event www.bridgegapconsults.com/gameofbusiness.
