“Africa can be better when cryptocurrency and blockchain is fully Adopted” – Gaius Chibueze , CEO, ABIT Network

“Let me tell you a story of a boy who grew up in Calabar.” This was the kick-off phrase by Gaius Chibueze as he delivered his keynote address at the first-ever Bitcoin conference with Bitcoin Chief that was held on 6th of December 2019.

The founder and Chief Marketing Officer of ABiT Mobile Applications, Mr Gaius Chibueze, popularly known as the bitcoin chief, gave an enthralling opening of the conference by giving a brief story on his life and the impact of having a cryptocurrency knowledge. 

 

He believes that Africa can be better through decentralization and the early adoption of cryptocurrency. He spoke largely on considerable plans and actions that have been put in place for the empowerment of Africans under the ABiT network an ecosystem of platforms and products powered by blockchain technology. ABiT is focused on the daily lives of African.

At the event, Mr Nyce Ayuk, who is a veteran digital marketer emphasised that there is currently a shift going on in the global workspace. He pointed that this shift will mean that everyone can become a billionaire, particularly when one plugs into the cryptocurrency revolution.

The game plan of the Arab nation and the lessons for Africa was outlined by Mr Chris Ani, CEO of CryptoHub . Being fascinated by what the Arab Nation have done and how far they have come through innovation. Chris Ani believes that Nigeria has a lot of work to do and a lot to learn from Dubai, while, Mr Tony, CEO, Crypto TVPlus offered insights to how the media can be leveraged to drive education and adoption of cryptocurrency in Africa.

 

The conference was filled with cryptocurrency enthusiasts, investors, and traders from ten African countries, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, France, and the UK.
