Nigeria records 91 new cases of coronavirus, total infections now 873

Nigeria has recorded 91 new cases of COVID-19, this brings the total to 873.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirmed this Wednesday night.

Of the new cases, 74 are in Lagos 5 in Katsina 4 in Ogun 2 in Delta 2 in Edo 1 in FCT, Kwara, Oyo and Adamawa state.

As at 11:25 pm 22nd April there are 873 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.

A total of 197 have been discharged with 28 deaths.

Breakdown of the new cases:

74 in Lagos
5 in Katsina
4 in Ogun
2 in Delta
2 in Edo
1 in Kwara
1 in Oyo
1 in FCT
1 in Adamawa

According to NCDC. 197 people have been discharged and 28 deaths recorded.
