Covid-19: Sanwo-Olu gives nod for SS3 classes to resume school August 3

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, has given the nod for  SS3 and Technical 3 classes to resume August 3rd, while JS3 wait for assessment for additional one week from then.
This, however, applies only to day schools, both public and private, while boarding schools remain shut till further notice.
Exception of these,  all other schools remain closed and continue online learning.
The governor, who gave an update on developments regarding the Covid-19 pandemic in the state, on Friday, said the 10pm to 4am curfew remains in force.
Also, social and event centres as well as religious and worship centres continue to remain closed
“Bars and spars to remain closed, no mass gathering of burials, while weddings should not attract more than 20 people”.
However, sports facilities within residential estates can open with not more than 20 people.
He said businesses willing to open must register with the Lagos State Safety Commission on www.lasgsafetyreg.com, while the wearing of facemasks remains compulsory.
