First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited has kept its promise to reward its customers through its 30th anniversary promo reloaded activity after a successful second promo draws held across all its regional and zonal operations nationwide.

FCMB has so far rewarded several customers with cash prizes, LCD TV sets, DVDs, GOtv decoders and generators, won in the monthly electronic selections ahead of the grand presentation of three brand new SUVs to lucky winners who will emerge at the end of the promo in September.

Meanwhile, latest customers to win the monthly star prizes of N1 million are Ose Idasho (Northern region), Ekemini Moses (South East/South South) and Hamzat Ganiyu Oladunjoye from the Lagos and South West region. Several other customers equally smiled home with other fantastic prizes at the event that was witnessed by officials of Consumer Protection Council (CPC), National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and other dignitaries including community leaders and government representatives.

The promo winners were unanimous in their praises for FCMB and commended the bank for its unblemished history in fulfilling its promise to customers. In particular, winners of the N1 million star prizes promised to utilise their millions judiciously.

Speaking at the Lagos end of the draws event, Olu Akanmu, senior vice president/divisional head of retail, FCMB, “we will continue to appreciate our customers and encourage them to save through programs like our 30th anniversary promo draws. The FCMB promo draws are also unique because they are taking place in several cities across Nigeria at the same time, zone by zone across our branches. The chances to win are therefore quite high for our customers, many of who have been rewarded today.”

The 30th anniversary promo was first launched in October 2013, and ran till March 2014, with the aim of encouraging savings and financial inclusion through rewards and prizes. At the end of the first phase of the promo, a total of 402 customers won prizes such as three Hyundai IX35 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), cash and other gifts.

Following the huge success recorded at the first phase, the Bank extended the promotion and tagged it, “FCMB 30th anniversary promo re-loaded,’’ which commenced in May to end in September 2014, while the grand finale will take place in October. The extension of the promo, according to the bank, is to further thank its current and potential customers for their loyalty over the years.

FCMB explained that the promo is targeted at all segments of the society across all age groups. These include professionals, market men and women, artisans, students, workers among others who have adopted and are enjoying the benefits of FCMB’s banking products and services such as basic savings, premium savings, Nairawise, Kids Account, FlashMeCash, among others.

On how to participate in the anniversary promo and draws, all a customer needs to do is to save N10, 000 in any savings account of his or her choice for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draw of winners where the star prize of N1 million and other fantastic prizes like generators, LCD TV and DVD players will be won. Multiple savings of N10, 000 will increase chances of qualifying for the zonal draws.

To qualify for the grand finale draws in October, where the star prizes of three Hyundai SUVs will be driven home by three customers of the Bank at the Lagos and South-West, South-East/South-South and North regional draws, customers are to save N10,000 monthly incremental over five months or have an incremental average balance of N50,000 in September, 2014.
