Accion MfB empowers female entrepreneurs with digital skills

Accion Microfinance Bank (MfB) has equipped female entrepreneurs with digital skills to help propel their businesses to new heights.

The bank recently hosted a one-day digital skill boot camp at its headquarters tailored mainly for female entrepreneurs to recognise the growing importance of social media, according to a statement.

Paul Ehiagbonare, chief digital Officer at Accion MfB reiterated the importance of equipping female entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the digital landscape effectively.

He delivered a keynote address on practical strategies for leveraging digital technologies to drive business growth by noting key areas such as digital marketing, e-commerce, and enhancing operational efficiency through digital tools.

Anita Oguni, corporate branding and digital communications manager at Accion MfB, shared insights on social media marketing and content creation by providing a roadmap towards achieving digital marketing success.

She said female entrepreneurs should focus on leveraging digital channels to expand customer reach, increase brand visibility, and cultivate meaningful engagement.

Upon completion of the boot camp, the participants were presented with certificates of participation from the bank.
