The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected that Nigeria’s fiscal balance will further worsen by -5.1 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2019 and -4.6 percent in 2020 from 4.5 percent in 2018.
They Washington based Fund made this projection in Fiscal Monitor report released on Wednesday at the ongoing World. Bank/IMF Spring meetings in Washington DC.
