Nigeria has received the first batch of three training aircraft for its College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria.
Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation, who announced this via his Twitter handle (@hadisirika) on Sunday, said there was no better aviation safety than having well trained, proficient aviators.
According to him, training would now be more efficient, faster, and cheaper.

“Our roadmap is yielding good results. We appreciate your support,” he said.
On February 19, 2020, the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) took delivery of the first batch of six DA40 NG as part of a re-fleeting programme that includes 20 Diamond airplanes (five twin-engine DA42-VI and 15 single-engine DA40 NG) over the coming years.
“In our effort to catch up with technology in line with our approved roadmap, we are happy about our state-of-the-art training aircraft from Diamond. Our efforts have earned Zaria the status of an ICAO Regional Training Center of Excellence,” Sirika had said then.
