Governors sign MoU with Isreali’s institute to build human capacity in states

The Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) secretariat on Thursday in Abuja signed an MoU with the Galilee International Management Institute, Israel in its bid to boost the capacity of state government officials.

The NGF director-general, Asishana Okauru, said that the essence of the MoU was to concretise the relationship between the NGF secretariat and the Galilee International Management Institute.

The director-general was represented at the occasion by the director, finance and administration of the NGF secretariat, Mohammed Jimbia.

“We have discovered that Galilee International Management Institute is one of the best in the world, so by collaborating and cooperating with them, I believe we are on the right direction.

“Our plan as the policy hob of the NGF is to enrich and enhance the capacity of states and to gather knowledge and share same with relevant government authorities”, the director-general said.

He said that international input in this regard would contribute a lot in capacity development of government officials and the NGF secretariat generally.
