Strawberry Limeade
As you start putting together a list of summer drinks you would love to whip up, this is definitely one to add in. This drink is Infused with lime, making it the epitome of refreshing. Try this out on a sweaty hot day and you will be glad you did.
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
11 pcs lime
1 cup strawberry
1 cup mint leaves
4 ounces tequila Blanco
Method
Place a sauce pan over medium heat. Add in 2 cups water, sugar and ½ cup mint leaves. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to sit for about 15 minutes so the mint can infuse.
Pour the mixture through a strainer to get out the mint leaves. Add the strawberries into the blender, 1 cup squeezed lime juice and the sugar mixture. Strain out the bits.
Pour into a pitcher, add in the tequila and stir. Serve over ice with a lime wedge.
