Wonder Woman – “Iconic Female Hero”

Diana put up a very good act in this movie and I must confess that I was incredibly impressed although I did have some reservations initially going to see it, as I was so sure what it was going to look like, I was totally wrong this time as the movie definitely would make it to the top 10 beautiful movies of 2017. Although we all knew that this young damsel was an amazing actor, we were all curious to see what the storyline would look like and it was great. The movie was awesome to keep all active and alert all through the 2hrs 20mins. The movie was a typical display of an iconic female hero, who was determined to save the world with her power and restore peace to the world. It was epic when her mission was accomplished.

Gal Gadot referred to as Diana in the movie was an amazon princess who was born with power, skills and affluence. She knew she had some passion and talent to fight, but her mum the Queen of the land desperately didn’t want her to know she had some powers and that she was the chosen one, but she really couldn’t hide that for long.

Everyday Dianne would sneak and run to the field to meet her aunt, her mum’s sister who would train and equip her for the battles that lay ahead. When her mum found out that she could really do nothing to stop her, she let her be, but asked her sister never to let her know who she really was. Until one faithful day when she got so angry in a fight, and crossed her hands, the whole land quaked and she defeated her aunt. From then onward Diana knew she had some serious powers which she could use to destroy anyone.

On the island that Diana occupied they were only female warriors found there and none of them had seen any man, till one faithful day a plane crashed into their island and a pilot referred to as Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) was rescued by Diana. After rescuing Steve, He tells them the story of the war which was taking place in the real world “World War 1”. He explained that the war was consuming the earth and they were losing the battle, except he went back quickly with the evil witch’s book, so that they could devise a means to stop her. At that point Diana makes a solid promise that she was going to use her supernatural powers to save the world and bring back peace to the land. Patty Jenkins the Director of the movie had a perfect story line and an outlined plan, which he brought to reality in this movie.

The peak of this movie was the display of power, determination and zeal of Diana at the war front, where the soldiers had feared to trespass for months and had gained no grounds, in one night Diana went in, fought, overcame and occupied the land, the victory was iconic and the men went on and on in salutations and greeting to Diana for coming to their rescue and saving their land. The final and epic scene was the battle with her evil uncle who had come to sow evil and discord in the hearts of men, that they might become so greedy, envious and jealous of one another, that fighting and killing each other became the only way to display superiority and strength.

For the action and thriller movie fans this is a guaranteed 100% recommendation from you to me.
