Manchester United have reportedly submitted a new bid worth more than £60 million for Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo.

According to ESPN, United had an earlier offer of around £55 million rejected by the Bees but are now pushing to finalise the deal swiftly.

The Red Devils have already agreed to trigger the £62.5 million release clause in Matheus Cunha’s contract at Wolves, with the Brazilian forward set to complete his move to Old Trafford after the international break.

Mbeumo, who netted 20 Premier League goals last season, is next on manager Ruben Amorim’s wishlist as he looks to solve United’s attacking struggles.

Sources say the 25-year-old favours a move to Manchester United despite interest from Newcastle.
