In continuation of its promise to keep rewarding its customers in celebration of its 30th anniversary, First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited has produced a total of 133 winners for its September draw.

The new winners who emerged through an electronic process won cash prizes, LCD TV sets, generators, DVDs and GOtv decoders. The trio of Oshodi Taiwo Folusho (Lagos and South-West region), Chide Oguh Momoh (Northern region) and Abanokwu Augustine (South-East/South-South) won the monthly star prizes of N1 million each.

The bank also rewarded several customers in the promo ahead of the grand finale draw in October, where three lucky customers will each drive home with brand new SUVs. Likewise, the winners were unanimous in their praises for FCMB and commended the bank for its unblemished history in fulfilling its promise to customers.

Speaking at the Lagos draw, Olu Akanmu, senior vice president/divisional head of retail, FCMB, said the bank will continue to appreciate its customers and encourage them to save through programmes like our 30th anniversary promo draws, which is so unique, because they were taking place in several cities and zones across our branches nationwide, saying “the chances to win are therefore quite high for our customers, many of whom have been rewarded today.”

The 30th anniversary promo was first launched in October 2013, and ran till March 2014, with the aim of encouraging savings and financial inclusion through rewards and prizes. At the end of the first phase of the promo, a total of 402 customers won prizes such as three Hyundai IX35 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), cash and other gifts.

Following the huge success recorded at the first phase, the bank extended the promotion and tagged it, “FCMB 30th anniversary promo re-loaded,’’ which commenced in May to end in September 2014. The grand finale will take place in October. The extension of the promo, according to the bank, is to further thank its current and potential customers for their loyalty over the years.
