The World football governing body FIFA has confirmed the date Nigeria will host Cameroon in back to back World Cup 2018 Qualifiers game in the third round of games in the African qualifying series.

Nigeria are top of group B with six points, four points more than second placed Cameroon who are Nigeria’s next opponent when the third round of games comes up later in the year.

According to the fixture on the website of FIFA, the game which was earlier moved to August 31st for television purposes has been moved back to the initial date of 1st of September 2017 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.

The return leg tie was also moved from the 5th of September to the 4th of September by FIFA in Yaounde. The new dates have been communicated to both football federations by FIFA.
