We’ve justified our mandate in Ogun – Abiodun

Dapo Abiodun

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has said his administration has not betrayed the mandate given to him and his cabinet by the people in 2019.

Abiodun said the political mandate has been justified through infrastructure development across the 20 local government areas of the state.

The governor, who christened the socio-economic growth being witnessed in Ogun as “Yellow Revolution”, declared that a series of quality interventions had been made in the areas of road infrastructure, health, education, transport and housing, even as the state awaits the inauguration of more capital projects to mark two years in office.

Speaking in Abeokuta, the state capital, Governor Abiodun said although his administration was a silent one, it was nonetheless embarking on projects in all the 20 local government areas of the state.

He said the Ogun State government was ready to inaugurate massive life-improving projects to mark two years in office later this month.

The governor, represented by Shuaib Salis, his chief of staff, said, “Our administration is a silent one. If you look at our achievements, you will notice that we have done a lot in the last two years. You will know that our achievements are massive.

“Talk about infrastructure – roads, housing, employment of our youths, and more importantly, the coordination of this administration in the last two years. We will be rolling out the drum very soon. Prince Dapo Abiodun has justified the mandate given to him two years ago. In a few days, you will be seeing our achievements – The Yellow Revolution, in all the 20 local government areas – schools, hospitals, roads, the airport and many other things.”
