Alpha Mead Group, a real estate solutions company has launched a new technology mobile application called Call2Fix, developed to address the challenges around building maintenance and repair services.
The launch of this application is coming at a time in Africa where the problem of quality artisan skill in the right number and at the right locations is considered to be most predominant.
Apart from the availability challenge, Africa and Nigeria in particular continues to face challenges of safety, reliability, security and affordability of the services.
In a bid to address these challenges, Alpha Mead Group has brought it’s over 12 years of experience in delivering facilities management services of international standards to clients across Africa to play with the launch of Call2Fix.

Call2Fix is a mobile app conceived to improve accessibility to quality building and maintenance services by empowering both the customer and the service providers in a manner that professionalism, transparency and accountability is greatly enhanced leveraging the mobile technology platform to connect the customers to skilled artisans within the closest vicinity and at the shortest possible time frame.
Speaking during the launch of the product in Lagos, Femi Akintunde Group Managing Director, Alpha Mead Group said Alpha Mead is leveraging it’s processes and systems and has embraced technology as the nexus between these business operations.
Akintunde said the goal for Call2Fix is to continuously connect people and organizations in need of quality building repair services with trained and reliable artisans or material merchants closest to them, from the comfort of their mobile devices.
“Today, I am happy to present to you that solution. A product of over 36 months of
research and development and several iterations, experimentations, learnings and validations.
“We are confident that Call2Fix will not just change the dynamics of building repairs in Africa, it will become a cynosure of a sustainable and robust Proptech solution that other segments of the Real Estate will adopt. Our excitement is not only about presenting the product today but also about the socio-economic solutions that the product will provide to all stakeholders within the repair and maintenance value chain,” he explained.
Akintunde assured that with Call2Fix, customers need not worry again about quality services, finding the right artisan, security of their homes or having the fear of being swindled by artisans.
He said beyond the solutions that Call2Fix will offer to the customer is the economic empowerment that it offers the SMEs in the Real Estate sector. Call2Fix is a platform where they are reaching more ready-made customers, which will consequently increase their earnings.
He noted that the social impact of employment and wealth creation that Call2Fix will create is also something that excites the company thoroughly.
“We are positive that the new standard that Call2Fix will set for maintenance services will echo back into technical education and present the market with more qualified and professional artisans.
“At another level, we are aiming that Call2Fix will give organisations better visibility into their operations spend and reduce overhead operations and maintenance costs. This informed our decision to add an enterprise feature that will allow relatively small sized
office facilities either within a rented commercial complex or stand alone, to manage their space right from the Call2Fix app.
“The organization would register on the platform but give admin rights to designated officers to use Call2Fix for all their repair and maintenance service requests,” he said.
He said the company has experienced and understands the pain points around searching for artisans, reliability of existing ones, professionalism, raising the cost of repair materials, and the lack of choice in the artisan and materials.
He assured that Call2Fix has built-in features that make search seamless and convenient, protect people’s home, loved ones and funds, and reduce the impact of shoddy repair services on your Real Estate assets
